Everett (Graham) was born in Bacchus Marsh, VIC in 1894(3) to Joseph William Earl and Margaret Adelaide Loughlin. Graham had a brother, Clarence, who is also remembered in the Avenue.

Graham was a War Worker in London when he enlisted in the AIF on the 1st of August 1918, aged almost 24. He had previously been rejected for Service due to defective vision. He was allotted to the 10th General Service Reinforcements and posted to the 7th Battalion Details. He embarked for Australia aboard the City of York in January 1919, returning home in late February and discharged from the AIF in March.

Graham was in the Citizen Military Forces for eight months in 1942 - V147597. He died at Heidelberg, VIC in 1972, aged 77.

He is listed on the Roll of Honour for Bacchus Marsh, held by the RSL at Bacchus Marsh and also the Holy Trinity Church Roll of Honour held by the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Bacchus Marsh.

  1. Whilst his official name is Everett he was probably known as Graham.
  2. MW might indicate Munitions Worker. He was an Australian War Worker - 943, when he enlisted in London.
  3. His WW2 service records show him born in Brunswick, VIC in 1897.
